Our 7 and 10 night Chasing The Light – Norway Photography Expeditions are a trip of a lifetime for travellers with an insatiable appetite for discovery and love of adventure. The trips run between September and March and the variation in light and colour on the landscape varies wildly across these seasons.
Throughout the trip, we’ll visit many breathtaking destinations and be seduced by the rise and fall of the sun, beautiful coastlines, spectacular iced fjords, snow capped mountain panoramas and picturesque fishing hamlets from the rugged islands of Vesterålen to the iconic village of Reine in Lofoten.
After dark, when the enchanting Northern Lights come alive our chase will begin.

Puffins
Keen birdwatchers flock to Norway every year to catch a glimpse of the cheeky, clown faced puffin. There are several places where you too can get your puffin fix, including the aforementioned archipelago of Svalbard, where they can be spotted with ease from a summer boating expedition. For a more intense puffin experience (yes, such a thing does exist) visit the small village of Bleik , where you can go on a real life puffin safari, and take a boat trip past their enormous breeding colonies, where over 300,000 puffins nest during summer.
